Dr. Douglas Weiher


Dr. Weiher is originally from Virginia, Minnesota.  He attended the University of Minnesota School of Biological Sciences and School of Dentistry for his undergraduate and graduate education.  Upon graduation, Dr. Weiher moved back to northern Minnesota to practice dentistry for a few years before returning to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area where he has practiced for the last 20 years.

Dr. Weiher believes that excellence in dentistry requires a lifelong pursuit of continuing education.  Dr. Weiher has studied with some of the most prominent clinicians and educators in the world.  Dr. Weiher is a graduate of the University of Minnesota  Esthetic Continuum  and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.  He has enjoyed all aspects of dentistry, but has a special interest in the art and science of cosmetic sedation dentistry.  Dr. Weiher has been a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics, Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.  Dr. Weiher has been a board member for the Minnesota Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and several boards of local and national dental groups.  Dr. Weiher is a teacher of cosmetic dentistry principles and techniques for dentists.

Dr. Weiher met his wife, Mary, while attending the University of Minnesota.  He is married with three children.  Dr. Weiher enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering for numerous charitable organizations, cooking, golf, hockey and outdoor recreation.

Dr. Ryan Tietz

Dr. Tietz is originally from New Prague, Minnesota. He attended St.John’s University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science and minored in Theology. As an undergraduate, he was an NCAA All-American and two-time Scholar All-American in wrestling.  Upon graduation, he attended the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. Dr. Tietz enjoys the artistic element of dentistry, creating custom smiles for patients that are beautiful and functional in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Tietz was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force.  While practicing and training among some of the Nation’s leading dental professionals in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, TMD and Prosthodontics, he expanded his dental base and received numerous awards for his various achievements. In 2007, he was delighted to return to Wisconsin, bringing his comprehensive skill set to the St. Croix Valley.

Dr. Tietz believes that continuing education is a key to providing optimal patient care with the most advanced technology.  He especially is interested in implant, sedation, and cosmetic dentistry in an environment that is calming and pain free. Dr. Tietz received his Oral Conscious Sedation permit from the Wisconsin Board of Dentistry after intensive training with the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry’s Oral Surgery Department as well as through The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.  His former and current affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The American Legion.

Dr. Tietz met his wonderful wife, Christina, while attending dental school. A native of Oakdale, MN, Christina is a teacher and has her Masters of Education in Counseling. Together they have two sons, Ricky and Gabriel.

When not at the office, Dr. Tietz enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, hiking, sports and volunteering at the Union Gospel Dental Mission in St. Paul.

Dr. Sara Cody

Dr. Sara Cody, a native of New Richmond, graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2006 from Marquette University School of Dentistry. She was inducted into two prestigious honor societies, Alpha Sigma Nu and Omicron Kappa Upsilon for scholastic excellence. In 2007, Dr. Cody completed additional training at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to earn a certificate in Advanced Education of General Dentistry.

Professional affiliations include American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Her professional interests include cosmetic dentistry, implants, sports dentistry and international dental missions. She enjoys transforming a patient’s smile to improve confidence and function. Being an advocate for preventative dentistry, Dr. Cody promotes custom formed sports mouthguards to aid in protection from orofacial trauma.

Dr. Cody strives to build trusting relationships with her patients. She values educating patients on oral health needs and providing appropriate, tailored dental treatment. “I believe every patient deserves exceptional care that begins with open communication. A team evolves as the patient, dental staff, and dentist work together to meet treatment expectations and to create a positive experience.”

Dr. Cody returned to Wisconsin in July, 2010, along with her husband, Lincoln Likness D.O., and daughter, Kate. During the preceding two years in Cleveland, Ohio, her husband pursued fellowship training in sports and spine medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation while Dr. Cody practiced dentistry in two highly successful practices. The couple is enthusiastic to return to the area and raise their family. “We are delighted to be back to this family oriented community. We look forward to serving the people of St. Croix Valley.”
